Layla Layla Masri
President

Works as the chief of business development, providing detailed site planning, budgeting and scheduling. She also serves as a web copywriter and a usability expert in creating intuitive navigation and organization.

Layla spearheads new business development, working closely with new clients in strategic planning. With her broad advertising and agency background, Layla is well-versed in developing marketing content and practices hands-on, proactive project development. As co-founder of Bean Creative, Layla has been integral to the planning and development of each client website project and is a key factor in turning client projects "from the conventional to the captivating."

She works closely with clients at the project onset, concepting site interactivity, providing strategic planning, completing audience analysis and competitive research, organizing user testing, developing content audits, advising on best practices for usability/accessibility, and developing information architecture and site maps.

Layla has a BA in Journalism from the University of Maryland, worked as an advertising copywriter for clients such as Amtrak and Nissan while working for E. James White and McCann Erickson. In her capacity as a marketing expert on web development, she brings over thirteen years of experience in marketing and project strategy development for clients including PBS, Carnival Cruise Lines, the US Department of Labor, National Geographic, the National Restaurant Association and Amtrak.

She is a respected past speaker for Netpreneur and DC Web Women, has been interviewed by NBC 4 (Washington, DC), the Washington Business Journal, Fortune Small Business magazine and even fashion powerhouse Marie Claire magazine. Layla has also been featured in the books Under the Radar: Starting Your Net Business Without Venture Capital, by Arnold Kling, and Taking an Idea to Market: How to turn your vision into a successful business venture, by Molly Tschida Brennan.

She is a member of the American Society of Association Executives, the American Association of Museums and the National Association of Women Business Owners.
