Have you checked to make sure that the mute switch is not set to OFF (shown as a red line)?

The mute/silent switch is located next to the volume buttons on your mobile device.

iPad sound issues?

The iPad has an interesting mute quirk, which can result in no sound coming from certain apps over your iPad speaker, even though volume is turned up and you can hear the sound with headphones.

Option 1:

  • Double tap the home button
  • Swipe from left to right
  • Tap the speaker icon to the far left
  • It should show “Mute Off” below the play button
  • Go back to the app and check for sound

App freezes or crashes or other anomalies

BEFORE REQUESTING SUPPORT, RESTART THE APP.

Restaring the app solves about 95% of all issues and is your fastest way to get off and running with your new app.

Contrary to popular perception, tapping the round Home button on your device does NOT close running apps — they are essentially “paused” and waiting for your next use. In order to completely close an app, follow these steps:

1. Tap the round Home button so that the app is not on screen anymore.

2. Double-tap the round Home button to bring up a row of icons along the bottom of the screen. These are all the apps currently running on your device. Slide the bottom app row left/right to find the app you wish to close.

3. Tap and hold the icon for the app until it begins to wiggle and red circle appears on the top left of the icon.

4. Tap the red circle icon. This closes the app. Then tap the Home button to exit the close app mode. Note that it does not delete the app from your device, it simply stops it from running.

Once you have followed these steps, you can tap the app to run it again.
