RoboNation

Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International Foundation

With 80% of jobs in the next decade requiring math and science skills, you need an online robotics community to spark students’ passion for STEM.

AUVSI Foundation had an incredible array of robotics events and competitions for tweens and teens. What they needed was a more compelling web presence to inspire the next generation of builders, creators, engineers.

Drones are capturing the attention of millions of kids and building their interest in unmanned systems, and the AUVSI Foundation wanted to leverage and translate this excitement to their existing robotics competitions, kits and educational offerings.

To create RoboNation, we needed an overarching strategy to align a series of outdated, disconnected robotics event websites into a single, compelling brand. Armed with their goal to create a place for beginner enthusiasts and robotics experts to interact, the Bean Team set to bring the RoboNation community to life.

Thanks to a user-centric approach that highlights their events, competitions, hands-on kits, community activities and videos, the redesigned site showcases the variety of ways that students can to get involved, develop skills, and feed their curiosity for a lifelong appreciation and love of robotics.

With the redesigned, singular destination, RoboNation fuels students’ imaginations, enhances their education, and gives them a great start to a promising future in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) and unmanned systems careers.

An engaging design, smart usability and responsive delivery makes it easy for students, teachers and parents to dive into RoboNation's competition offerings and community features.
