Project Director

As co-founder of Bean Creative, Layla is a key factor in turning client projects from the conventional to the captivating. With her promotional background and 15-plus years as a marketing/web copywriter, she has a laser focus on maximizing impact. This passion has made her a usability expert in concepting site interactivity, providing strategic planning, completing audience analysis and competitive research, advising on best practices for usability/accessibility, and developing multi-faceted digital promotion plans.

She is a respected speaker, author and interviewee, having been featured in Washington Business Journal, Fortune Small Business and even fashion powerhouse Marie Claire.

Layla has a BA in Journalism from the University of Maryland and is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and the American Association of Museums.

Fun Fact

Layla’s childhood Atari 2600 is well-loved at Bean HQ. Just *try* and challenge her to a game of Pitfall or Donkey Kong.

Though his official title is VP, Bean’s co-founder is our preeminent technology guru, trend forecaster and interactive innovator. As one of the studio’s two project team leaders, Keith’s passion is to create technical development and design strategic plans that help turn client ideas into success stories.

He leads the studio’s charge into effective new technologies, such as app creation and HTML5 mobile development. With over twenty years of design, development and programming experience, Keith excels in finding the ideal solutions by sweating the details to deliver forward-thinking project specifications and development oversight.

Keith has a BS in Applied Design from the University of Maryland.

Fun Fact

Keith uses no effects whatsoever to produce the voice of Cheeko the flying monkey from EekoWorld. It is 100% natural. Perhaps this should be called “Sad fact” instead.

Bill is one of Bean Creative’s two project team leaders, overseeing design, organization, programming, database and interactive project components.

With more than twenty years of design and user interface experience under his belt, Bill is so masterful at understanding and anticipating client needs you’d swear he has ESP. His talent at orchestrating a symphony of Bean Team skillsets is the secret to delivering work that surpasses expectations and engages audiences with rich experiences.

Bill has a BS in Applied Design from the University of Maryland.

Fun Fact

Bill saw the original Star Wars movie more than 50 times in the theater — the ORIGINAL in 1977, not that re-released nonsense!

Amy heads up our project management team, ensuring that every project features smooth communication channels, detailed scheduling and clear deliverables to ensure that we work in harmony to achieve maximum efficiency and satisfy project goals.

Amy serves as a day-to-day client contact with over a decade of experience in project management. To receive her friendly reminder “love notes” is to know how expertly Amy manages the flow and feedback process of projects.

Amy has a BA in Environmental Studies from Gettysburg College.

Fun Fact

Amy can be easily bribed with Vermont maple sugar candies. Peppermint Patties work in a pinch, too.
